Kia ora – I’m Brianne, the face behind Base Insights.
Born and raised in Murihiku Southland, I’ve spent over 12 years working across research, evaluation, strategic planning, insights, and social impact — helping businesses and organisations make sense of complex information and turn understanding into meaningful action.
I founded Base Insights from a love of community, a curiosity about how people and systems work, and a belief that better understanding leads to better decisions.
My work combines analytical thinking, practical strategy, and a people-centred approach. I love connecting the dots, asking the questions that matter, and helping people find clarity in complexity.
Outside of work, life is a busy mix of raising two boys, ambitious garden projects, good books, strong coffee, and an ever-growing list of things I want to learn, try, or create. I’m endlessly curious, love a good puzzle, and rarely find myself short of a new idea or project to get stuck into.
